Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is a Tiger reserves in Chandrapur
district. It is notable as Maharashtra's oldest and largest National
Park. It is one of India's 41 "Project Tiger"- Tiger reserves.
Tadoba- Andhari Tiger Reserve was established as second Tiger
Reserve in the Maharashtra State, in 1994- 95. Tadoba- Andhari Tiger
Reserve area constitutes a unique ecosystem, comprising, wide
variety of flora and fauna including diverse and rich avi-fauna with
unique natural scenic beauty. The Reserve is constituted with 577.84
sq. km. Reserve Forest, 32.51 sq. km. Protected Forest and with
14.93 sq. km. other areas. It comprises of 91 compartments, which
are organized into 3 Ranges, 10 Rounds and 34 Beats for purpose of
administration and management. Evening will be at leisure.

In the early morning, enjoy a Jeep Safari
to view wildlife.
Tadoba can be explored on open jeeps. This method of excursion is
known as tiger safari and is usually of few hours. The open jeep
ride offers wide view of the habitat and a chance to see tigers and
other game in the wild. The jeep safaris are organized in the
morning and evening with a break in between. The timings depend upon
the sun rise and sun set and usually range from 6 am to 10.00 am.
The evening timings are set from 3 pm to dusk. A park guide has to
accompany the jeep as a regulation and a fee paid for his service.
The tourists are not allowed to get down from the vehicle throughout
the safari.
After lunch, once again be ready for another afternoon Jeep
Safari.
Evening will be free for relaxation. Just sit and relax and enjoy
